Sorah At-Tin ( The Fig )

Sorah At-Tin ( The Fig ) - Verses Number 8

وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ ( 1 )

By the Fig and the Olive,

وَطُورِ سِينِينَ ( 2 )

And the Mount of Sinai,

وَهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ ( 3 )

And this City of security,-

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ ( 4 )

We have indeed created man in the best of moulds,

ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ ( 5 )

Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,-

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ ( 6 )

Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing.

فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ ( 7 )

Then what can, after this, contradict thee, as to the judgment (to come)?

أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ ( 8 )

Is not Allah the wisest of judges?

The Rights of ParentsIslam recognizes family as a basic social unit. Along with the husband-wife relationship the Parent-child relationship is the most important one. To maintain any social relationship both parties must have some clear-cut Rights as well as obligations. The relationships are reciprocal. Duties of one side are the Rights of the other side.
