Sorah As-Sharh ( The Opening Forth) - Verses Number 8

أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ ( 1 )

Have We not expanded thee thy breast?-

وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ ( 2 )

And removed from thee thy burden

الَّذِي أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ ( 3 )

The which did gall thy back?-

وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ ( 4 )

And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)?

فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ( 5 )

So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief:

إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ( 6 )

Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.

فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانصَبْ ( 7 )

Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard,

وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَارْغَب ( 8 )

And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention.

The Rights of ParentsIslam recognizes family as a basic social unit. Along with the husband-wife relationship the Parent-child relationship is the most important one. To maintain any social relationship both parties must have some clear-cut Rights as well as obligations. The relationships are reciprocal. Duties of one side are the Rights of the other side.
