Sorah As-Sharh ( The Opening Forth) - Verses Number 8

أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ ( 1 )

As-Sharh ( The Opening Forth) - Ayaa 1

Have We not expanded thee thy breast?-

وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ ( 2 )

As-Sharh ( The Opening Forth) - Ayaa 2

And removed from thee thy burden

الَّذِي أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ ( 3 )

As-Sharh ( The Opening Forth) - Ayaa 3

The which did gall thy back?-

وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ ( 4 )

As-Sharh ( The Opening Forth) - Ayaa 4

And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)?

فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ( 5 )

As-Sharh ( The Opening Forth) - Ayaa 5

So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief:

إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ( 6 )

As-Sharh ( The Opening Forth) - Ayaa 6

Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.

فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانصَبْ ( 7 )

As-Sharh ( The Opening Forth) - Ayaa 7

Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard,

وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَارْغَب ( 8 )

As-Sharh ( The Opening Forth) - Ayaa 8

And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention.
