Sorah An-Nas ( Mankind ) - Verses Number 6

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ( 1 )

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,

مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ( 2 )

The Sovereign of mankind.

إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ ( 3 )

The God of mankind,

مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ( 4 )

From the evil of the retreating whisperer -

الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ( 5 )

Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind -

مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ ( 6 )

From among the jinn and mankind."

The Call for the Unity of Religions: A False and Dangerous CallDr. Saleh As-Saleh said in the beginning of the book, "We hear nowadays a strange call by organized groups involving some Christians, Jews, and “Muslim” intellectuals calling for “wihdatul adyaan”. They claim that these three religions stand for the same belief that there is One God and should unite in their call for the implementation of great moral values. In his most recent tape entitled ''The Objectives of a Female Believer and Her Example in Life'', he mentioned that the celebration of the Prophet's, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, birthday is permissible. He provided evidence from the Quran and the Sunnah (of the Prophet, sallalaahu 'alayhi wa salam) -as he claims- and he confused the ordinary listener with this evidence.
