Sorah Al-Falaq ( The Daybreak ) - Verses Number 5
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ( 1 ) 
Qul aAAoothu birabbi alfalaq
مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ( 2 )
Min sharri ma khalaq
وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ( 3 )
Wamin sharri ghasiqin ithawaqab
وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ ( 4 )
Wamin sharri annaffathatifee alAAuqad
وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ( 5 )
Wamin sharri hasidin itha hasad

In the Risala, which laid down the basis for such a synthesis, al-Shafi’i established the overriding authority, next only to the Qur’an, of the Sunnah or example of the Prophet Muhammad as transmitted in the traditions.
